The end of the last decade has been one of tremendous growth and opportunity for me. It’s also been a time of great introspection on my personal values, the things that I want to accomplish personally and professionally, and creating the life and family that I want to grow old and pass on with. So it’s only fitting that, as I walk into this new decade of my life, that I develop a special vision for 2020 (sorry, I just had to).

For the last few years, my Patreon has run the gamut of my writing passions - Spoken Word, playwriting, fiction…but now, after my amazing writing experience at the Cropper Foundation Residency, I’m back at it again in a much more deliberate way. And I want you to share in the things I’ll be making!

I’ve been wallowing in the challenging bits of the literary community I’ve been eager to enter. Most notably of them is the fact that, like any other community, there is just as much likelihood that the people in it are harmful to those who trust and Love them. Perhaps they, like the ocean’s waves, are inevitable, and are more than powerful to pull down those who dare to tread among them.

It’s official - in addition to me being a part of this year’s Cropper Foundation Residential Writers’ Retreat, I’m also going to be a Community Solutions Program Fellow!
